With a lifetime of practical experience, Allan has developed a unique approach to training dogs. He offers group classes, private lessons, workshops, seminars, and personalized in-home training. Allan demonstrates extraordinary intuition and insight into the needs of both dogs and handlers.

Allan Maniate

Allan Maniate is a professional dog trainer with over two decades of experience. He provides group classes, private lessons, workshops, seminars, and personalized in-home training. In addition to obedience, Allan’s diverse background includes teaching draft work (carting), water rescue, conformation, junior handling, agility, and more. All training is done with positive reinforcement. Allan is a Canadian Kennel Club recognized Draft Dog Judge and a Water Rescue Dog Judge.

Allan manufactures and distributes a variety of products. Allan is committed to making equipment that is both safe and affordable while maintaining high quality standards.

If weather permits, Allan will hold classes in the outdoor arena. During inclement weather classes are held in his indoor facility.

Most of all, we find Allan to be down to earth in his approach and very practical and sensible in his suggestions, especially for “take-away” ideas that you can try at home with your dog. Equally important, and on the few occasions that we’ve had to call on him, Allan is also available “one on one” for you and your dog, whether it be a paid session or some quick advise over the phone.
