MissionAllan is dedicated to making training a positive, enjoyable and rewarding experience for both dogs and owners. He is committed to making equipment that is both safe and affordable while maintaining high quality standards.
Allan Maniate's ProfileAllan has been a Professional Dog Trainer for over 20 years. He has trained at several local Obedience Clubs as well as at his own private classes and he provides personalized in home training. In addition to obedience training he offers lessons in Draft work (carting), Water rescue, Conformation, Junior handling and several other types of training. All training is done with positive reinforcement. Allan is a Canadian Kennel Club recognized Draft Dog Judge and a Water Rescue Dog Judge. Allan is the proud owner of Newfoundland dogs who not only are cherished members of the family, but these dogs have (or will have) working titles. Allan is a Charter member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers and is a Charter member and President of the South Eastern Ontario Region of the Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada. He is a member of the Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada and a member of the Canadian Kennel Club.

(actually, it’s you he's training!). Allan employs consistent, positive
training tactics and he understands what your dog needs to become an obedient
pet. Whether it be a Newf (his speciality) or any other breed (large or
small), Allan likes to get to know you and your dog and he has a great knack
at remembering your dog's name throughout the class (although he might not
always remember yours). Allan's Newfoundland training classes for water
rescue and carting are especially good as he is great at understanding the
Newf's needs (and yours too) during a long (and sometimes very hot or cold)
training day.
